(For the sake of this blog, Pino will use primarily they/them pronouns for my own reasons. I have also given him the age of 19 which is canon divergent from his Reality verse.)A boy with no sense of independence, once they were given free will he found himself unable to decide on anything by themselves. The staff in their hand is rude and vulgar, bullying them and forcing them to kill, and it refuses to speak when others are around.Which one is the real Pinocchio? The former puppet, or the wooden staff that embodies all the selfish, vulgar, childish traits they used to exhibit?In order to survive, they kill as their staff demands - in self defense, and even when the enemy bows their head to them.They cower, plead and cry - they don’t want to fight, they don’t want to kill - at least, they claim they don’t.More than anything, they seek someone to give them orders, to fulfill their purpose as a puppet by commanding them. However, this does not mean they like being bullied - they hate it! They simply don’t want to make their own choices.And even if they are bullied, it isn’t as if they’ll stand up for themselves so long as they don’t have to think about what to do.Because of their desires it seems unlikely that they’ll form any healthy relationships.AU :: Reality (Modern AU)

They have finally gained their independence, even if it is in small steps, and they have grown somewhat bitter and jaded about the world that seems reluctant to understand them.

On one fatal time she awoke, snapped out of a trance standing over the bodies of her parents and... a girl she didn't recognize?Gretel is actually her brother Hansel, a boy who was finally pushed to the edge and killed his abusers. His parents and his obsessive sister who wouldn't respect his boundaries! The grief and regret when he realized that he'd killed the only person he trusted led him to taking on Gretel's personality and, for the most part, she is the dominant between them.When Hansel is fronting he expresses great regret at his actions and misses his sister greatly, even if he does not miss her clingy and inappropriate nature. He did indeed love her (although he was not In Love with her), but her obsession scares him deeply.Gretel however will incessantly chatter about Hansel and how in love they were. She talks to the head she carries around with her as she believes it to be him, and often complains that he no longer responds to him.

His dying wish was to reincarnate and continue to protect Zero, and so he was reborn as Mikhail.Mikhail is childish and often does not understand the more complicated or disturbing things adults talk about. He will joyfully eat rotten meat and bathe in mud, and despite having much of his 8000 years of knowledge locked away in his mind he remembers almost none of it.Although he is aware his promise to Zero is to kill her once they are through exterminating her sisters , he really doesn't want to have to go through with it and wishes there was a way for them to live happily -- even if he is aware this is impossible.On this blog I can write him in either his normal dragon form or his human form from SINoALICE.
